Things are still about the same--my liver is still ENORMOUS and I look about 3-4 months pregnant. It's usually tucked nicely up behind my ribs, but I can feel it all the way down to my belly button (and it hangs a little lower on the right side). There's fluid from it all over in my abdomen. The rest of my body has become quite skinny--so I'm looking pretty cute right now.

I got a week off chemo this week. However, because of the liver I feel pretty sick and have no energy. I spend a lot of time resting. Food is hard--my mouth is all sore inside from the chemo and my taste buds are all messed up.

I think I'm at the part where you just smile (if you can) and endure.

I still have my bright shining hope that all will be well.

Jen, you are so cool to post your jouney for us to read. I am touched by you and your life, but mostly by the upbeat decisions you make to keep smiling and to know that God is mindful of you. Thanks for teaching me some of life's great lessons through this blog. I love you for who you are, and I will keep praying for you and your loving family. Thanks again for all the service you provided me when I was in your ward and you were the Relief Society President. You said and did things that helped me and I will not forget them. I will continue to think positively with you and believe that you have years, not months left to live. May you continue to find happiness every day.

My girls loved coming to visit with you and the boys. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and leader to them throughout the years, long after the 'calling' ended. Your example of grace, dignity, love and beauty are a constant light in our lives. When you throw in your sense of humor and your ability to find joy in the journey, you have mastered many of the traits that make a successful life. We'll continue to have hope and pray for that miracle of good health to be added as well.

Jen, You are so beautiful! You never cease to amaze me, and are such an inspiration to me. My home teachers are going to be here any second and I'm bawling like a baby, but what's life without feeling the love and hope and hurt and joy, together. I love you.

Jenn, WE just barely found your blog from Heather. You are an amazing person and we send you our love. My sister-in-law that I had told you about has had hers reoccur and her prognosis isn't good. She is also a positive role model like you. Tell Bryan we love him and your boys so much. This blog is so great for you and others to be a part of. thank you! Joe and Karen
