So far so good!

I've been on my new chemo pills for two days and have felt pretty good! I am a bit tired, but I think I was that way before. I felt a little nauseous this morning, but after a chewing on some ginger I felt much better. I'll be taking 2 pills twice a day for seven days on then seven days off. I need to talk with my homeopathic Dr. to know if I should only be taking his remedies on my off weeks.

Here's beautiful Alaska from last week's trip.

There's a lot of glaciers up there!

It was amazingly sunny for the six days we were there. People said it was incredible to have so many days together where it was clear--in fact this past summer they hardly had three sunny days together. The weather forcast said it would rain the entire time we were going to be there. God knew I needed some sunshine. It's been snowing since we left.

Alaskan air can cleanse the soul of lots of cares & worries. I think that's why Ben loved it there. Enjoy the memories and like Tatum said - post lots of pictures all around you to remember the beauty that surrounds you. Life is good, enjoy every minute you can.

That's a gorgeous picture of you and Bry.. I agree that you should blow it up and hang it somewhere where you'll see it every day! I'm so glad you went, and that the treatment's okay so far. We love you and will pray that it works. You're the best, Jenn!

Sounds like Alaska was fun. I'm sure that Bryan will show us all of the pictures on his I-phone the next time we see you.

I love the photo too! You both look so happy. I guess that is why time away together can be such a good thing. I hope the nausea is short lived!! And if you and Tatum run off to the movies, call me! ;)

Okay, sounds like we need to have a "Girls Night Out"! What fun pictures, I love the one of you by the glacier, you make me laugh. We feel your pain, and know this is not a fun thing at all, and yet you just keep on smiling. You are a strength to all of us! God Bless You!

I get the impression from all the other comments that we are supposed to go on a girls gone wild, I mean girls night out! HeHe! I'm in even though I don't know any of these cute ladies!

I love the pictures as well and it is true that you were lucky to have such great weather! I shouldn't say lucky, you were blessed and yes, God was letting the sun shine down you guys and showing you his great and wonderful planet! I am sorry you are on any kind of chemo, but I am pleased that it hasn't been too bad! Hopefully some homeopathic stuff with help with the nausea, like the ginger. Let me know if you need anything, and I look forward to our annual Scarecrow Festival visit!
